For Day Dreamers, Jean-Claude Gallotta has met the musician Rudolph Burger, an explorer of new sound spaces. His work mixes rock music with philosophy to create the beautiful alchemy between the elite and the popular. The choreographer has also invited Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, a visual artist with multiple personalities, to work on this creation She explores the links between the arts and uses costumes, lights and colours for the dancers to help them “make clear the consciousness of the present moment.” Composed of three “events” lasting 20 minutes each, interspersed with two solos of the choreographer, Day Dreamers aims to be the choreography of “the present without impatience.”

Press talks about it

“Moments of trance and moments of gentleness where the bodies fragment space, that’s how is the free and fundamentally joyful movement of Jean-Claude Gallotta.”
