To be premiered in November 2023, this new work brings together the celebrated Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi and the lesser-known works by his contemporary and compatriot Giovanni Antonio Giudo.

The two contemporary works differ in the virtuosity of one and the inspiration of the France of Louis XIV of the other. Bringing these two compositions together in the same programme is therefore a daring gamble. The succession of rural scenes celebrates nature in a descriptive way.

Continuing the artistic line he has pursued for many years, Thierry Malandain explores the relationship between humans and nature. The choreographer, so rigorous in his respect for the integrity of a score, will move from winter to summer with grace.
