Choreography: Edouard Hue
Music: Jonathan Soucasse
Created in 2020
Duration: 55 min
Edouard Hue delivers a vision of the beginning of humanity, where all sensation, barely palpable, is to be created. To build this universe, the choreographer is inspired by the chemical reactions that change the nature of matter: combustion, corrosion, respiration, dissolution… The dancers take the place of atoms, electrons, nuclei and protons reacting in multiple choreographic interactions. Without any limits, the bodies are thus transformed into entities of pure energy.
Press talks about it
“Edouard Hue transforms himself into a flesh sculptor and shapes all these antagonisms into a living body, capable in itself of being a phenomenal vector of emotions.”

Shiver
Shiver is a commission from the Yokohama Ballet Festival, one of the most prestigious galas in Japan. For the 2019 edition, the 5th anniversary of the festival, Yasuyuki ENDO asked Edouard Hue to create a duet for Yurié Tsugawa - Angelin Preljocaj's soloist for 10 years and Yoann Bourgeois' assistant - and himself.
