Creation in 2023
Duration: 60 min

In this new piece, Edouard Hue has decided to delve deeper into the question of the body, its history and its composition. He invites his dancers to research the history of their own bodies, considering each of their limbs as a living being close to him. To do this, he relies on his visit to the anechoic chamber at IRCAM – the Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music in Paris, which absorbs 99% of sound, allowing him to hear the beating of the heart, the creaking of bones and the sound of blood in the veins.

This organic introspection allows him to dive into the raw material of dance, the human body. Edouard Hue’s latest creation explores the relationship between the human being and his innate bodily emotions; it is the inner reflection of each individual, an explosion of being.
